News: US Gold Futures jumped over 2.8% to cross back above $4,050 a troy ounce, recovering sharply from a one-year low hit late last week. The massive rally on Wednesday was triggered directly by a softer US dollar and plunging Treasury yields following the results of the US midterm elections.
 Analysis: A Democrat-controlled Congress reduces the likelihood of deficit-expanding legislation, which immediately put downward pressure on the US dollar and bond yields, thereby boosting the appeal of non-yielding safe-haven assets like bullion
